Enrichment Program
Our enrichment program for Lanai Road Elementary families offers an exciting and diverse range of classes, designed to spark creativity, build essential life skills, and ensure every child has a fantastic time. Students can explore entrepreneurship, shine in our theatre class featuring "Grease" the musical, or get active with soccer. For those who love strategy, our chess class sharpens minds, while our Marine Biology class dives into oceanic wonders. Creative experiences like Cupcake Wars, LEGO building, and sewing provide endless opportunities for self-expression. Each class fosters communication, collaboration, and critical thinking in a fun and engaging environment. Join PEAK for an enriching after-school experience where your child can explore new passions and thrive!

Class Change & Drop Policy
If you’d like to switch your child into a different class, there’s a $25 charge fee per class.
If you decide to drop a class, a 3% fee applies to the original charge and another 3% fee applies to the refund transaction.
Thank you for understanding as these small fees help cover processing costs.

Super Soccer Stars teaches soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive and educational environment. Through an age-specific curriculum, soccer is used to nurture, build self-confidence, and develop teamwork skills. Low child-to-coach ratios and positive reinforcement ensure that each child improves at their own pace while having a blast!

Persian 101 Course Description
In this engaging after-school course, students will build foundational Persian conversational skills while exploring the richness of Iranian culture through music, stories, and interactive activities. The class is designed to make learning both enjoyable and accessible for young learners. Depending on each student’s current familiarity with the language, lessons may also include an introduction to the Persian alphabet. By the end of the session, students will feel more confident using simple Persian expressions and will have gained a meaningful connection to the language and its cultural traditions.

In this deliciously fun enrichment class, TK through 5th grade students will turn everyday snacks into amazing works of art! Using colorful foods like fruit, vegetables, crackers, cereal, and pretzels, kids will design creative scenes such as sunny beaches, friendly lions, bright ocean fish, and cozy bird nests. As they build their edible pictures, students will explore shapes, colors, and textures while using their imagination and problem-solving skills. Each class becomes a hands-on adventure where food transforms into playful masterpieces. At the end, students can proudly show off their creations—and maybe even enjoy a tasty bite of their artwork!

Welcome to Spy Academy, where TK through 5th grade students become real junior detectives! In this action-packed class, young investigators will dive into the fascinating world of spy science and mystery solving through hands-on experiments and secret missions. Students will analyze fingerprints like forensic experts, investigate bite-mark clues, test mysterious powders, and uncover hidden evidence to solve mini mysteries. They’ll also learn how spies communicate by cracking secret codes and sending hidden messages. Along the way, each student will create their own spy gear—including a pair of detective binoculars—to use during exciting investigation challenges. By the end of the class, every student will feel like a true undercover agent with the skills to observe clues, think critically, and crack the case!

Our class offers a blend of drawing, painting, and sculpting with art skill focused lessons. Participants can immerse themselves in a variety of artistic materials and techniques. Our first session of the year will be "ANIMALS ON THE MOVE"- cute animals on things that go, for some adorable art work.

Get ready to build, test, and invent! In Young Inventors Lab, students become creative engineers as they design amazing structures using everyday materials like clothespins, craft sticks, binder clips, cardboard, and rubber bands—no LEGOs needed! Young builders will explore how things balance, bend, stack, and connect while creating bridges, towers, water slides, and other exciting inventions. Each class brings a new hands-on challenge where students experiment, problem-solve, and work together to make their designs stronger, taller, and more creative. With plenty of imagination and teamwork, students will discover the fun of engineering while learning how real inventors turn simple ideas into incredible creations. Get ready to clip it, stick it, stack it, stretch it, and engineer it!

With Keith-alan, Host of the TV show “Time 2 Dance” on Yippee!
From games such as Freeze Dance to learning fun hip-hop moves and choreography, every week kids break out of their shells to participate in a fun interactive dance party! On the last day there is a showcase for families and friends.

We are devoted to promoting the merits of chess among children by using stories, dances, and catchy songs to make the game of chess exciting and easy to understand. Children who participate in our program improve their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, improve their concentration and mental discipline, gain confidence, and have a great time!!! All students in the chess club receive an exclusive Academic Chess workbook, prizes for good sportsmanship, and participate in the "BIG TOURNAMENT" on the last day, where all kids take home a prize! New and experienced chess players are welcome! Children participating will be broken up into groups based on age and experience. Open to TK - 5th grade students. SEWING THURSDAYS GR TK-5TH 2:50PM-3:50PM
DATE: APRIL 16, 23, 30; MAY 7, 14, 21, 28 JUNE 4
Learn how to hand sew and embroider with all new projects. First project, a hiking bag, teaches how to sew on a button. Following projects, a felt box, a charm band, bear/deer embroidery and a calico or polka dot chicken teaches all other stitches and skills. Sewing kit and all materials and supplies are provided.

"Pack your bags and join Mrs. Fulford on an unforgettable journey! We are
exploring 4 different countries, diving into local cuisine, learning the language,
dancing to new beats, and discovering the world's geography.
Learning targets focus on developing expository writing through research,
strengthening mapping skills, and enhancing global, cultural, and geographic
awareness hands-on, simulated international travel.

READER’S THEATER

Reader’s Theater is a fun and effective way for children to boost reading fluency, comprehension and confidence. By performing scripts with their voices rather than memorizing lines, kids transform from reluctant readers to expressive actors. It builds essential skills while making reading an entertaining, collaborative experience.
Why Readers’ Theater?
Improves Reading Fluency: Repeated reading of scripts improves speed, accuracy, and expression (prosody).

Get ready for a colorful spring adventure! In this hands-on art class, students will create adorable bugs like butterflies, dragonflies, ladybugs, and more using bright polymer clay. Young artists will learn fun sculpting techniques like rolling, shaping, and designing while adding creative details such as sparkling wings, silly eyes, and rainbow patterns. Along the way, we’ll discover how these tiny critters help flowers grow and make spring so beautiful. At the end of each class, students will take home their own handmade clay bug masterpiece they’ll be excited to show off!

CRAFTS FOR KINDNESS

Come have fun doing arts and crafts to spread some kindness! You will make crafts for the purpose of bringing joy to those in need. We will create happy paintings for senior citizens and children’s hospitals, decorate onesies for babies in homeless shelters, make toys and small blankets for animal shelters, decorate frames with positive quotes and poems for someone that needs a little encouragement and a reason to smile, just to name a few crafts. Not only will you make lots of crafts, but you will learn what it means to have empathy, compassion, love and kindness for people and animals in need. You will leave this class with a big heart and a desire to want to spread kindness throughout your life journey.

Ignite your child's sense of wonder with the natural world in a sparkling after-school adventure in crystals! Each week, young explorers will gently wash and closely examine a new, dazzling crystal specimen—introducing 8 unique gems entirely different from the minerals and rocks covered earlier this school year.
Through hands-on science, kids will discover the shine, colors, and natural beauty of earth's treasures, then channel their creativity by incorporating the crystal into fun art projects. This class brings endless sparkle, shine, and magic—perfect for budding environmentalists, rock collectors, and artists alike!
