At PEAK, we provide a comprehensive childcare service that extends until 6:00 PM on every school day. To enroll your child, please complete the registration packet linked below and send it to peakenrichment@gmail.com. Deadline for registration: 8/31/2024.

Enrichment Program

Our enrichment program for Wilbur Avenue Elementary families offers a dynamic and engaging selection of classes designed to foster creativity, build essential life skills, and ensure every child has a blast. Students can dive into the world of science with our Chemistry class, learn to play beautiful music in Piano lessons, or express themselves through Art and Sewing. Our Group Voice class helps students find their voice, while Cupcake Wars adds a dash of fun to the mix. For those interested in exploring nature, Marine Biology opens up the wonders of the ocean, and for active minds and bodies, Soccer, LEGO building, and Chess offer exciting challenges. Each class is crafted to promote communication, collaboration, and critical thinking in a fun and supportive environment. Join PEAK for an enriching after-school experience where your child can explore new interests and thrive!

We are devoted to promoting the merits of chess among children by using stories, dances, and catchy songs to make the game of chess exciting and easy to understand. Children participating in our program: Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Have better concentration and mental discipline; Gain confidence and have lots of FUN!!! All students in our chess club receive an exclusive Academic Chess workbook, prizes for good sportsmanship and participate in the “BIG TOURNAMENT” on the last day where all kids take home a prize! Kids love to watch things fizz, foam, and bubble and explode! If you wish science class was more like the crazy science labs that you see in movies then this is the class for you! Kids will perform experiments to help them understand the science between acids and bases, mixtures, reactions and other chemistry related concepts.

Our Cupcake Kids Class is all about cupcakes - Vanilla, Rainbow, Confetti and much more!! Each class we whip up a new cupcake recipe or start with a fresh cupcake and learn fun and easy decorating techniques. Spooky Halloween cupcakes, Thanksgiving cupcakes, Holiday cupcakes and many more celebrations! It's the tastiest way to learn.

Create your own world through LEGO and then take it home! Explore the endless possibilities of pattern, color, and shape in our world, then use your knowledge and skills to build your own dream creations. You will become a LEGO designer, creating everything from your own favorite space alien, luxury sports car, and much more. The only limit is your imagination! Release the master builder inside of you and discover a totally different world of LEGO!

Dive into an ocean of discovery! In this hands-on Marine Biology class, students will dissect their own squid, hold a six-foot octopus, and explore the inner workings of a clam shell. Get ready to feel what it’s like to stick your hand in a jellyfish! We’ll also uncover the secrets of a shark’s incredible senses and how they use them to hunt. Students will even have the rare opportunity to hold a real shark and learn how its anatomy aids in its predatory skills. Join us as we see, hold, and touch a variety of fascinating marine animals in this exciting underwater adventure!

An introduction to piano lessons with basic playing skills for beginner piano students! We will cover note reading, piano keys, finger numbers, music for right hand or left hand alone, counting beats, and music for two-hands. Students will learn music terms and rhythms through games.

Learn how to hand sew and embroider with Miss Shannon’s Sewing. First project, a pencil case teaches how to sew on a button. Each project teaches a new skill. Big project is a super cute raccoon. Sewing kit, materials and supplies included.

Super Soccer Stars teaches soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive and educational environment. Through an age-specific curriculum, soccer is used to nurture, build self-confidence, and develop teamwork skills.
